2. Be ON TIME (Be inside the room and putting away books before bell rings)
3. Be in YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT – leaving seats only when necessary.
4. Be an ACTIVE LISTENER
(look toward teacher, stop all movement, listen closely)
5. Be POSITIVE (Be willing to try new things outside your comfort zone)
6. Be RESPECTFUL (in words and actions to yourself and others)
7. Be RESPONSIBLE (Check with teacher if you miss class, are behind)
8. Be ON TASK (work during class so that you can finish all assignments)
9. Be A PERSON of INTEGRITY (No stealing - No TRACING)
10. Be SAFE - (Use materials ONLY as directed and clean up after yourself
CONSEQUENCES for MISBEHAVIOR RULE #1-9:
STEP #1 A few verbal warnings will be given
STEP #2 Student/teacher conference in hall & possibly new seating assignment
STEP #3 Parent notification & a writing assignment
STEP #4 Office Referral - isolated seating for misbehavior
Note: RULE #10 - IF a student jeopardizes the safety and welfare of anyone in the classroom by misusing materials or fighting – the OFFICE and Parents will be contacted immediately and the student will be removed from the art room permanently if necessary.
